If you are having trouble in your classes, the very first step to take is to visit with your professors.   Your  professors are absolutely the best resource at your disposal.  Be sure that you have      contact information and office hours for each of your professors.

If you are looking for a tutor in a class, the best place to begin is a the Dean of Students Office.

If you are interested in attending study sessions with other students in courses, then check the following link to see if any of your courses have what are called supplemental instruction sessions:  Supplemental Instruction

Psychology 131 is a one-credit hour course dealing with learning issues as well as a variety of reading and study strategies and tactics from time management to test taking. It is offered each semester.  Class topics include: Time, Memory, Reading, Notes, Tests, Diversity, Thinking, Writing, Relationships, and Health.

The DSO also offers workshops on how to improve your study skills, how to help you better manage use of your time, and how to help you with test anxiety.

The Academic Learning Lab is a good resource to help you with any number of academic problems you may be facing:  procrastination, time management, setting goals, etc.

If there are circumstances other than coursework causing you problems in your classes, you should visit with the Student Counseling Service , Student Support Services, or Disability Resources.
