131 is a one-credit hour course dealing with learning
issues as well as a variety of reading and study strategies
and tactics from time management to test taking. It is
offered each semester. Class topics include: Time,
Memory, Reading, Notes, Tests, Diversity, Thinking, Writing,
Relationships, and Health.
The DSO also offers workshops
on how to improve your study skills, how to help you
better manage use of your time, and how to help you with
test anxiety.
The Academic
Learning Lab is a good resource to help you with any
number of academic problems you may be facing:
procrastination, time management, setting goals,
etc.
